Milk Container Candles

The Container candles also known as poured candles are easiest to make. Pouring the melted wax in a container in which it will burn. It does not require separate holders or stands; they burn in the container itself.

The container candle can be the most economic way of making candle. You can use a left over candle wax and a milk carton, which you might have thrown in the dustbin and can make superb candles out of it. Since the milk cartons are a thin film of wax from inside you need not to apply mold release spray. The process of making this candle will be the same but the only difference will be the container used in the place of mold. The candles have to be removed from the molds but the candle is not removed from the mold.

This candle does not require a stand as the candle is made in the container. Generally container made of metal, ceramic or glass is used. It is the best way to reuse the bits of left over candles and use the milk carton which otherwise is useless. The milk container candle had slightly different procedure of candle making. You don’t have to use molds or need to grease (mold release spray) the container, as the candle is not removed from it. The candle container should be warm when the molten wax is poured as it reduces wax shrinkage when it cools. By this simple method you can recycle the milk container and can make fabulously fragrant candles.
